Screenplay competition

Since its first edition the “Festival international del Cinema Povero” promotes “Il Nasso” award, reserved to Screenplay Contest, in which we alternate special editions with a specific theme and free editions. Among the themed screenplays we have: the first edition titled “Davanti ad un caffè” and, then “Tableaux Vivants” and “La Vita è meravigliosa”.

“There is not a movie without a script”: these few simple words summarize the importance for this event that, over the years, has increased the participation of authors, unknown or already known, eager to measures themselves in a full competition full of ideas and suggestions for films that could very well compete globally. Currently, the competition is open to screenplays for “short-films” and only to Italian language authors, but it is possible, in the future, to implement this award to screenplays for feature films.
